Melissa Balbach

My name is Melissa Balbach. I am currently at senior at North Carolina State University working towards my Bachelor of Science degree in Sport Management. I currently work as a Guest Services Agent with Hampton Inn & Suites in Downtown Raleigh as well as an Administrative Assistant for Options for Senior America. In my free time I volunteer with the NC State Baseball team as part of the Diamonds Marketing Team. Starting in May, 2015 I will be interning with the Burlington Royals, a minor league baseball team that is the rookie affiliate of the Kansas City Royals. Throughout my college experience I have gained experience in sport in addition to other industries in order to gain valuable skills and a breadth of knowledge. I have also travelled out of the country numerous times and enjoy learning about different cultures as well as pushing myself outside of my comfort zone. I am fortunate to have been able to acquire jobs that have allowed me to grow and develop skills that I will be able to further use throughout my life.
