Melissa Canseliet

UX Strategist in Paris, France

I am a Neuroscience and UX expert focusing on digital experiences.

I also teach Behavioral Economics at EDHEC Business School, UX management and UX for eSport at the Gaming Campus, Neuroscience for UX in video games at Les Gobelins.

I used to be a Neuroscience Research Associate at The University of Oxford. After a specialized Master at HEC I worked at Ubisoft for about 7 years, where I contributed to a better UX expertise for engaging fun experiences in video games. After briefly working in the automotive industry I came back to my passion for the digital world!

I recently accepted the challenge to work on Marketing Strategy in fintech, and I am happy to support other firms in developping entertaining experiences.

Why User Experience after Neuroscience?

Because there is always a gap between design intentions and the actual user experience, understanding how the mind works provides with a lot of opportunities to improve any design (from product design to brand strategy). Today I am able to share and improve my knowledge on my favorite subject while helping designers improve the experience they build as well as upgrading global strategies towards a User Centric approach. Yes, I believe that building value starts with understanding people's needs and expectations.

I'd be happy to exchange with you about Neuroscience and UX, and answer your questions. I do belong to these zombies with headphones on when walking on the streets, but mails get my best attention!

So please, do not hesitate to contact me!
