As Partner and Creative Director of OMG, Melissa has a solid marketing background spanning all industries including real estate, business coaching, non-profit, and the energy and oil & gas sector. Melissa is both a creative strategist and a musician who is driven to design campaigns that inspire, empower and motivate individuals to take action. Her creativity has no bounds. Her strategic marketing campaigns are composed using a holistic approach combined sometimes with the added touch of music. Melissa believes in the power of campaign anthems and the fundamental value they bring to brand development. Melissa wrote the song Rise Up Calgary in 2010 as part of an effort to inspire Calgarians to vote. The voter turnout increased by 30% that year. Melissa even got Mayor Nenshi (Mayor of Calgary) moving in her latest campaign song, The Rebuild Anthem, featuring Theo Fleury (NHL Hall of Famer turned country singer) a music video celebrating the power of community after the devastating floods that his Calgary, Alberta. This campaign raised funds towards the Alberta Flood Relief effort.
