Melissa George

This is my 9th year of teaching. I have taught the past years in Lexington School District 2 in grades 7, 4, and 3. I absolutely love teaching and couldn’t imagine doing anything else! I have been married to my wonderful husband, Joey, for ten years and we have two handsome young boys, Cross (5) and Navy (1). We moved to Lexington a little over a year ago, and enjoyed becoming a part of Lexington School District 1. In my spare time, I enjoy running, reading, sewing, and giving back to the community. I absolutely love working at Deerfield, and can not wait to see the wonderful learning that will take place throughout the year.
