Growing up in the Bahamas has exposed me to and given me a first hand account of communities whose resources have been exploited by unfair business practices and gross mismanagement. I have seen the tourism industry overdevelop the country, illegitimize the local culture and cause grave environmental damage all in the name of "progress." In seeing how socio-culturally and environmentally unsustainable these practices are I have become driven to make a change to the traditional "business as usual model." I am currently living in Perth, Western Australia where I work for an eco-conscious yoga retailer. I am passionate about the environment, wildlife conservation, social entrepreneurship, sustainable agriculture, spiritual development, ecotourism and yoga. I live to love and love to live ☮
