I care deeply about two things: learning and stories.

LEARNING

To equip someone with the ability to learn is to empower them to lead lives they truly love and to enable them to grow on their own as individuals. This is why I do the work that I do at Teach For Malaysia - building relationships with different players in our education ecosystem so that we can learn as adults to be better teachers and role models to our students, and so that our students can find their own voice and lead their own learning.

STORIES

Stories are powerful narratives that shape how we see ourselves and the world around us. We can choose to listen to stories others tell us and follow those, or we can listen to these stories and then choose to rewrite them and own them. This drives me as a performer - I am hungry for stories and to delve into the lives and motivations of others so that I can do justice to their voices.
