Melissa Laramie

I am single mother of a beautiful 3 year old girl named Peyton. She is the best part of my day, the love of my life and a dream come true. Born and raised in Eastern Washington, I'm a pround member of the Colville Confederated Tribes, Lakes Band, from Inchelium and grew up in Spokane. I graduated from Seattle University in 2000 with a BA in Applied Sociology/Social Work and have stayed in the Seattle area since.

I have over ten years of experience in publishing (Seattle Times, Seattle Weekly, ColorsNW Magazine) and communications. Currently I am a Senior Communications Coordinator at Puget Sound Educational Service District in Renton, WA. Puget Sound Educational Service District is a regional educational service agency that serves 35 school districts, more than 200 private schools, and over 393,000 students in King and Pierce counties and Bainbridge Island in Washington.
