Melissa Goldberg
Melissa Goldberg is currently the General Manager of Total Assault, a boutique digital marketing agency in Los Angeles. At Total Assault, Melissa has developed digital and social media marketing / advertising strategies for 350+ entertainment and brand clients. Melissa's skill and expertise in both fields has contributed to marketing efforts for artists ranging from DIY independent musicians to multi-platinum global superstars. Melissa has also spearheaded the development of a new department at Total Assault which focuses on applying the company’s proven digital marketing model to the brand space.
Prior to moving into the world of digital marketing, Melissa worked in the rock A&R department at Interscope Records where she helped develop recording budgets, scout unsigned talent and manage the daily happenings of an A&R office. Some of the artists Melissa has worked with throughout her career in music include: The All-American Rejects, U2, Nirvana, AFI, Bret Michaels, Dave Matthews Band, Jimmy Eat World, Katy Perry, Insane Clown Posse, Green Day, Rise Against, Wolfmother, Madonna, and Sublime with Rome, among many others. On the brand side of her career Melissa has worked with clients in verticals such as technology, events, restaurants, nightlife, fashion, gaming, etc.
Melissa is a Maryland native who received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of Michigan, where she also played Varsity Water Polo. In her spare time you will find her exploring her passion for food, friends, art and her french bulldog, Mooby!
