I am an avid learner-practitioner of global citizenship, a teacher of Spanish, social emotional learning, and digital literacy, an enthusiastic experimenter in classroom technology, and a (forever!) beginning practitioner of mindfulness. Key personal goal: learn from and share with others something "new"--even if only new to me!--every day.

I am the parent of a college student, a runner (most recently competed in the 2024 Malibu Moves Half Marathon), a language and travel enthusiast, a collector of Day of the Dead paraphernalia, a raiser of parakeets, and a baker of desserts that will lay waste to any diet.
