After receiving her bachelor’s degree in communications with an emphasis in public relations from California State University, Fullerton, Melissa worked for an award-winning PR firm where she gained three years of invaluable media-pitching skills and expertise. Her previous client roster included companies from myriad industries, including nonprofit, legal, finance and a mortuary. Melissa has an enthusiasm for pitching stories to reporters and her relentless pursuit to secure media coverage.
