In my spare time, I am a devoted dancer and yogi, and love to garden my xeriscaped yard with native Missouri plants with a particular focus on fragrance and benefiting bees and butterflies. I love reading poetry, history, philosophy, political nonfiction, and fiction featuring complex female characters. I also love the music and lyrics of Leonard Cohen, a live Phish concert, YoYo Ma, Mavis Staples... songwriters whose lyrics tell an engrossing story.
