Melissa Milakovic

A recent graduate of the YogaWorks 200 Hour Teacher Training Program (lead by Catherine Munro), I am eager to share my love of yoga with you. As a pracitioner, first and foremost, I believe in the power of yoga as a tool for increasing physical well-being, for nurturing creativity and for personal change and empowerment.

My approach to yoga is much like my approach to life: show up, do the work, be mindful, tap into strength when you need it and flexibility when it's necessary. Never take it too seriously and laughing and smiling are mandatory. Dance if you want to, slow down if you need to.

What I hope to bring to my classes:

Everyone is welcome, safe practice, focus on alignment, intelligent sequencing, fun, sweat, lightheartedness, an open heart and an open mind.

What you need to bring:

A mat.

Please note: You need not be a flexible warrior person to start the practice of yoga. This is why it is a practice. The flexibility and strength will come. All you need to do is show up.
