Melissa Millay

Melissa Millay is an accomplished and successful fundraising professional in New York City. She has 15 years of experience working with complex organizations both large and small, including The New York Public Library; Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum; Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum; and The Brearley School. She has worked on numerous capital and endowment campaigns and has a proven track record securing leadership and major gifts.

Melissa Millay's expertise is in the development and execution of short-term and long-range funding strategies targeted to specific constituencies, corporate and foundation giving, major gifts, project management. Melissa has strong analytical and communication skills and substantial experience with databases, budgets and staff development.

Early in her career, Melissa gained experience in finance as an investment analyst for Bessemer Trust Company in New York City, followed by two years in Paris, France.

Melissa has a passion for travel, reading and the arts. When she isn't seeking out new adventures around the world, Melissa can be found hiking, skiing or running in Central Park with her dog Scout.
