Content Marketing in Detroit, Michigan
Melissa Summers is a writer living just outside Detroit with her two kids, a skittish dog named Lucy and two cats who are, frankly, kind of assholes.
She has been featured in the New York Times, the Chicago Tribune, the Detroit News and Free Press (where they published her phone number on the front page) among others.
She also went on the Today Show to tell America she thinks it's okay to have a glass of wine while your kids play together.
Turns out America does not entirely agree.
Her website, SuburbanBliss, launched in 2003, when her children were quite a bit smaller and she was a lot less experienced at the whole mom gig. Things are a lot easier now.
Someone bought the lapsed domain in July 2014 and with that the blog was no longer hers.
Now she works as Content Marketing Manager at an international company in southeast Michigan helping educate consumers and drive sales with engaging content.
