An alumna of Princeton University, Melissa Vale is a New York City native who provides realty services to buyers, sellers, and renters in the city’s real estate market. Prior to attending Princeton, she attended an elite all girls school in Manhattan, writing reviews of New York restaurants, stores, and neighborhoods for her school paper. Equipped with this knowledge of buildings, stores, and public and private schools throughout the city, Melissa Vale currently works to ensure that the sellers she represents secure the highest possible value for their property and buyers find the perfect location for their needs.

Prior to her career as a realtor, Ms. Vale worked as a freelance writer covering arts, film, culture, and philanthropy, with articles appearing in numerous prestigious publications. She continues to write in her spare time and is currently collating experience from her travels throughout the Caribbean into a definitive ranking of Caribbean beaches using her own unique scoring system. Alongside this project, she keeps abreast of New York City culture and provides support to theater, ballet, and museums in the city. She and husband, Nick (entrepreneur and author of "An Inconvenient Truth: No Free Will) reside in a co-op on the Upper East Side.

Melissa Vale currently works as a real estate agent forDouglas Elliman.
