Michelle Ellison

Michelle Ellison, lyric soprano, studies vocal performance at Oberlin Conservatory with Daune Mahy. She’s been featured in master classes sponsored with renowned soprano, Karen Slack, and producer/bandleader Norman Connors as well as performing as a chorus member in William Bolcom’s modern opera A Wedding. She recently attended The Hawaii Performing Arts Festival participating in the practice and performance of Fiordiligi (Cosi fan tutte), Second Woman (Dido and Aeneas), Suor Angelica, and Pergolesi's Stabat Mater. She also serves as chair to the Oberlin College Black Musician’s Guild. Ellison hails from Maryland near the Washington D.C. Metropolitan area.
