Mellow Boards was founded in January 2015 with the goal to produce the world’s best electric motor kit for skateboards and longboards. With their modular drive system, made in Germany, Mellow Boards is unique among electric skateboards on the market. The company received over 300,000 euros in funding as one of Germany’s first Kickstarter projects. The Mellow Team consists of 18 employees throughout Europe, who regularly convene at the startup’s headquarters in Hamburg. Mellow Boards production sites are in southern Germany.
