Peintre depuis l'adolescence, ayant toujours dessiné, c'est grâce à une demande folle de ma grande amie que le Henné est entré dans ma vie.

Ayant vécu plusieurs traitements de radiothérapie, mon amie perdit ses cheveux et me demanda alors de lui créer une couronne. Je n'avais jamais fait ça. Elle me répondit : "ce n’est pas grave, ce sera beau de toute façon". On ne refuse rien à son amie.

J'ai donc fait sa couronne, et suis tombée sous le charme du mehndī. Tout le processus est enivrant. De la préparation de la pâte de Henné (odorat) à l'application (concentration, toucher), ensuite l'attente et les soins... Je suis profondément passionnée de cet art corporel et souhaite avoir l'honneur de le partager avec vous prochainement.

I was a painter since I was 16 and always drew. A crazy request of my great friend made Henna enter in my life.

Having lived several treatments of radiotherapy, my friend lost her hair and then asked me to create a crown on her head. I never did that. I only did some doodling when I was a kid. She answered me this: “I don’t care, it will be beautiful anyway”. We refuse nothing to a friend.

So I made her crown, and fell under the charm of mehndī. It is quite intoxicating… In a good way. I love the preparation of the paste of henna, the application is sensuous, the waiting is exhilarating and the care is soothing… I am deeply passionate about this body art and I wish that I’ll have the honor to share it with you soon.

Zoothérapeute, conseillère à la santé, artiste mehndī, nouvelle maman... Il m'est impossible de concevoir que je ne pourrai pas tout faire, voir, écouter, apprendre, goûter... le monde est magnifique !
