I am a recent graduate of California State University Northridge, receiving my Bachelors Degree in Urban and Environmental Planning and a minor in Sustainability. I have ran my own photography business for the last several years and have a strong background in communications and public relations that complements my education. I am attending the University of Florida for my Masters degree in 2015.

Urban Planning affords me the opportunity to do all of the things I love: research, writing, designing and exploring; while making communities and places better for all people. My dream is to help the world be come a safe, equitable, environmentally conscious and economically vibrant place for all to live and thrive for generations to come.

I am excited to see what the future holds for me and eager to make a profound and long lasting change in society and the way people live. I believe in balancing conservation and sustainability with a high quality of human life and believe we can have both. My motivation for success is my beautiful family, who means the world to me.

I am currently very interested in natural resource management and have been spending a great deal of time exploring the breathtakingly beautiful Pacific Northwest, and have finally found the place I want to plant my roots. I live my life by the Ghandi mantra, "be the change" and that's what I plan to do.

I was blessed to find an amazing position right after graduation, with a small municipality in central Oregon, where I am learning so much about day to day city operations and gaining valuable experience in city management, archiving, planning, community development and civic engagement. My position with the city has further instilled in me the love of municipal level government and reaffirmed that I want to continue working at this level, as I feel I can make the most difference working directly with local citizens.
