I've been a hairstylist for 35 years. In all that time, not one woman has come in, looked in the mirror and said, "Never mind, I love my hair just like it is!" We always want someone else's hair. Like the Hair is Greater on the other side. My joke has been I have made a living off the insecurities of women. I know now the real truth is I have made my living off learning how beautiful and completely individual we each are.

During these many years, due in part to some very painful times, my path has taken me into a deeper part of myself. Great pain has the gift of breaking open the rigid parts of me- those pristine, shiny new parts that ignorance kept out of the rays of compassion, spaciousness and wisdom.

My purpose is to use my many years in the beauty industry and my search into the mystical aspects of life and beauty and marry the two in a practical way. May this be a light along the way for you as so many have been for me. May you Tend the Path of Beauty.
