As an E6, First Class Petty Officer with 12 years of Active Duty Service with the United States Navy I decided it was time for a change. I felt I needed to share my experiences both good and bad and use them to make a change and help other people. I am currently in a Nursing program which I ultimately hope to earn my Masters Degree and become a Nurse Anesthetist.
I am currently an active volunteer at Sound Heath and trying to help promote and encourage the amazing discoveries and wellness options that Sound Health has to offer. I currently am working on the PTSD/TBI research program/project. I have completed the 2 day PTSD/TBI course and the 5 day professional course and am actively meeting with Clients, Active and Veterans.
I am hoping for great success and active participation and support for the program, so I can share with other Veterans and sufferers like myself the ability to control your day to day moods and start living YOUR life again, not just watch it through a deppressed anxiety filled fog.
I have been featured on the Blog Talk Radio Show, Vocal Profiling Live with Sharry Edwards and RIchard "Talk to Me Guy" Olsen "Courage of Choice" and we have had great reviews and feedback from the show.
I am currently researching more Radio Shows and publications that would enjoy hearing the success story of one Veteran who has had the courage to speak out and seek an answer and help to combat against the emotional rollercoaster we all face being in the military and supporting those close to us who are.
