Melody Moody is a nonprofit professional with over 14 years of experience working with non-profit organizations in Jackson, Mississippi. Melody is the owner of, "Melody Project: Management", a consulting firm specializing in nonprofit management and event planning.

Experience: Melody currently serves as the executive director of Bike Walk Mississippi, the only statewide bicycle and pedestrian advocacy group in Mississippi. Under her leadership, Bike Walk Mississippi was awarded the “2013 National Advocacy Organization of the Year” from the Alliance for Biking and Walking as was named as 1 of 13 "Innovators" in the U.S. using bicycles to change the world by "Bicycling Magazine."

Community: Melody also served as founder of the Community Outreach program at Belhaven University and as co-founder pf both the Jackson Bike Advocates and the Jxn Community Bike Shop, an outreach project using bikes to make a better community.

Education: Melody received her Masters of Arts in International Development with a concentration in Advocacy & Human Rights from Eastern University in Philadelphia, PA and her Bachelor of Arts at Belhaven University in Jackson, Mississippi.
