Melody Saleh
Author, Storyteller, and Writer in South Florida
Hi, I’m Melody. I’m a published author living in South Florida. I am a fan of golf, reading, and writing. I’m also interested in fitness and animals. You can read my book with a click on the button above.
I began writing a novel many years ago but life got in the way. Chapter one was actually a dream I had inspired by an episode of Sex in the City. I decided in September 2019 to write full-time and publish my novel which became the first in my Women’s Contemporary Romance, Unbroken Series trilogy. The series is about the lives of four dynamic and successful women. They each have different personalities, careers, childhoods, and are at varying stages in their lives. What they all have in common is their friendship—their bond.
The focus of the series is about their sisterhood and the mayhem in their sometimes messy lives. My books are fast-paced and full of drama, compared to a mixture of Sex in the City and Fifty Shades. Facade and Deja Vu, Books 1 & 2 are published and available at retailers all around the world with the finale, C'est la Vie, Book 3 releases on December 1, 2020, just in time for the holidays. A thriller is next with a 2021 first-quarter release.
When I’m writing my first draft—I’m at my happiest. Creating a story is my passion. A movie projector plays in my mind when my fingers touch the keyboard. It’s my job to keep up as my characters let me into their lives.
As a breast cancer survivor, family and friends are my life’s priorities. I don’t sweat the small stuff (and most of it is). Birthdays are gifts—another year I’m alive enjoying life.
My husband of 19-years is my best friend and biggest fan. He’s supported me as I’ve reinvented myself a few times over the years. One of our most exciting hobbies is traveling. We’ve had the pleasure of visiting many exotic places; cruising being one of our favorite vehicles of transportation to see the world.
My pride and joy is my daughter and two grandchildren. I can’t get enough time with them. I’m lucky to live just 30-minutes away.
Life is a gift! Enjoy every day and don't sweat the small stuff. 🥰
