The co-founder of the successful Internet start-up, Election.com, Mel Schrieberg began his career at Xerox Corporation where he rose through the sales and marketing management ranks to become the top Branch Manager in the United States. Mel Schrieberg subsequently became President of ROLM Operating Company, the first company to integrate voice and data, and he led the company in revenue growth nationwide. Following his successful tenure at ROLM, Mel Schrieberg was recruited by IBM Corporation to serve as Director of IBM Strategic and Organizational Planning before receiving a promotion to the position of Region Manager, Eastern. Charged with managing the top-performing region for IBM, Mel Schrieberg oversaw $1.1 billion in revenue and increased sales and profitability by 22 and 16 percent, respectively.
