Grand Master Steiner is very well respected and is considered to be a walking Encyclopedia amongst his peers. What makes Grand master Steiner stand out amongst other TKD practictioners and instructors is his adaptive use of the systems practicum by incorporating an "if it works use it, if it doesn't throw it out" approach. This is dissimialr to many system Grand Masters that hold on to the political and ultranationalist agenda of many modern martial arts. His current approach has been to identify the historical roots and applications of what is the current state of Ch'ang Hon Taekwon Do and practically apply them.
