Melvina has 6+ years of experience in the capital market industry. She started her career journey as an equity analyst at Trimegah Securities with coverage on property and poultry sectors. After two years, she decided to leap at the chance in the buy-side as an institutional relationship manager at Trimegah Asset Management, prior moving to the investment team as an investment specialist for three years. She obtained a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Banking and Finance from University of London (LSE, EMFSS).
She currently works as a senior associate to the Chairman at Bakrie & Brothers, in which she represents the Chairman in various occasions and works closely with the Board of Directors. She liaises with Indonesian governments and multiple international organizations, including APEC Business Advisory Council, the United Nations and the World Economic Forum. She develops ABAC Indonesia Impact Fund initiative through engagements focused on the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
She also serves as project director at Abhanuraga Nusantara, an interfaith and intercultural community that aims to raise the society’s awareness on getting connected with the inner beings. She co-founded Women 9.0, a platform with visions to inspire and empower women to become the best version of themselves.
