I used to be terrible at writing resumes. Why? Like most people, I wasn’t naturally talented at something when I first started doing it. I had to work at it. Also, I was practicing on myself, and when you're as self-critical as I am, it's hard to self-promote. Practice made me better. On the contrary, I've only gotten worse as a poet. I guess it's just one of those things that happens when you grow up.
