Anthony Mendoza
Bodybuilder, Designer, and Filmmaker in Las Vegas, Nevada
Hello, I’m Anthony. I’m a young adult aspiring to become a future bodybuilder. I live in Las Vegas, Nevada. I am also a fan of graphic design, sports, and technology. I’m also interested in photography and music. Mainly though I am interested in Bodybuilding.
I want to become a personal trainer bodybuilder due to the fact I love helping people out in any way I can. So helping people reach a goal the can be life changing is the least I can do for people I wanna help out. Seeing how far someone will come from rock bottom interests me so much because it can show how impressive it can be that people are capable of changing themselves with hard work.
The educational background needed for this job would be a basic high school diploma and possibly training in Basic Life Support through the American Heart Association. The average salary for a personal trainer is 33k-96k per year.
Five skills I will need for a job like this to be successful is
- Emotional Intelligence and Empathy.
You must be knowledgeable on how people will think when starting a big goal like this, so being able to understand what your client is thinking or saying is important. It shows you care and wish the best for them.
- Communication Skills.
Must be able to communicate information clearly to help them understand lets say an exercise and how to do it correctly. This is a major skill and if done correctly can save you time.
- Motivation
Must have motivation not just to keep doing the job but to motivate your client to keep pushing their absolute hardest out of them and making sure they stay on track with diet and or consistently exercises.
- Patience
Some clients you have will be tough learners and takes them a bit to process information, so being patient with them is a major key in personal training.
- Technical Knowledge
Having technical knowledge on certain exercises, the human body, nutrition and other key factors is very important because if given the wrong information, you will tell that same information to your client, possibly resulting in no results in their physical or maybe even mental appearence.
