Patty Mendoza

Patty was born in Oaxaca, Mexico and arrived to California at age 10. She grew up in King City, Ca and pursued an education at SDSU. Patty has a dual BA in Communications and Chicano Studies from San Diego State University. She has received a Public Communications Strategies Certificate from The University of Texas in Austin and is a graduate of the Hispanic Austin Leadership Program. In her community she has served on the Mexican American Cultural Center Advisory Board, the Hispanic Women’s Network of Texas board, Hispanic Austin Leadership Alumni board, and is currently on the SDSU Alumni Austin Regional Council board.
