University of Venice, Italy

I have been cooperating with Ca' Foscari University of Venice (Italy) since 2002, working on research studies and ministerial projects concerning second/foreign language learning and teaching. My first area of interest is plurilingualism and I am particularly involved in language learner autonomy (a topic I have developed in my recent doctoral research), CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) methodology and Intercomprehension between languages of the same family. I also coordinate and lead teacher training sessions in these fields of language education, both for Ca' Foscari University and as a free lance trainer.
