Hi there, I’m Mercy but I liked to be called “the zainar” (an alternative spelling of designer).

I’m a UI/UX Designer living in Benin City. I have always been a curious individual and if my curiosity about something lasts more than a couple months, I'm definitely going to get involved.

I'll call my career in design a good curiosity-led destination. I have been able to see how impactful design based decisions are on the success of anything - from products to events.

I enjoy my job as a designer because it exposes me to a variety of people and ideas while showing the validity of these ideas.

I also appreciate that I can bring my research experience from my science background (studied Microbiology by the way) and apply it in the world of technology.

¶ I bring value to my clients by paying attention to the decision making process and how it impacts their overall business goals. (Don't do it, if it ain't good for business).

I am a fascinated by good design which is why I love babies. Such perfection!

I enjoy writing down my thoughts and this trait comes in handy when I carry out interviews, or get involved in brainstorming sessions.

I am daily brushing up my entrepreneurship skills to help make better business decisions for clients as well as make a sustainable business out of my skillset and experiences.

I volunteer in my local church as a creative designer and I take on volunteer roles for tech events as well.
