I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over twenty-five years experience. I provide evidence based individual therapy to adult clients who are experiencing depression, anxiety, PTSD, grief/loss, and other life challenges.

My approach as a therapist and social worker is to help clients learn how to help themselves while overcoming personal, environmental and systemic barriers. My special interests include LGBTQ+ issues, grief/loss, relaxation training, and the power of story-telling.

I have experience as an EMDRIA-trained EMDR therapist and I am also clinically trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. My clinical practice has included work in residential treatment, community mental health, the Ryan White Program (formerly Ryan White HIV/AIDS Center), acute inpatient care, hospice, and the cancer treatment community.

I understand the importance of the client-provider relationship and work collaboratively with individuals to create a safe and healing environment.
