I am a singer and songwriter that recently put my faith into action by transplanting my husband and two young sons from Maine to Nashville to pursue my dream of a music ministry.
The adventure has included a yellow Penske truck, a new church family, new jobs, the family being sick for the entire month of October (and then again all of January) and of course -- new music!
After a tumultuous first year away from all that is familiar, we have finally settled a bit south of Nashville, and I became the 6-12th grade music teacher at Providence Christian Academy in Murfreesboro, TN. I am so happy to be teaching music again - watching kids get excited about major scales, quarter notes and analyzing musical time periods is pretty awesome.
