Meredith Wegner

I am a marketing interns at the University Career Center. I oversee the career center’s social media accounts and other marketing activities. It is my job to connect the career center with students on campus. The career center has knowledge and connections which can be used by every students. Without the right promotional tools, students do not utilize these resources. My goal is to promote the University Career Center and help students find their dream internship or career.

Outside of the office, I can be found doing homework at any coffee shop in Lawrence. I am a coffee connoisseur which is my fancy way to say I drink coffee all the time. Another passion of mine is traveling. I recently studied abroad for four months and it was the greatest adventure I’ve had. I love traveling to new countries and even new states. I hope to visit all 50 states of the US one day. Besides spending money on travel, I enjoy spending my money on clothes. I have a slight addiction to shopping but my closet isn’t too upset about it. I love buying new clothes and often fill my free moments shopping in a mall or online.
