Merendi Leverett is the founder and director of Merendi Health & Wellness and has been working in occupational rehabilitation, personal training and developing health and wellbeing programs for more than 12 years. Merendi has a team of experienced professionals covering a host of health areas, including exercise physiology, dietitian, massage and other specialties, providing personalised service and holistic care to empower their clients to improve and maintain good health, fitness and quality of life. A specialist in developing individual wellness programs for people of all ages and fitness levels, Merendi offers a fresh and vibrant outlook for clients. Her programs are structured to ensure clients are motivated and focused on achieving their goals – and enjoy the process. Her extensive experience includes developing and delivering exercise-based programs for a range of conditions, such as musculoskeletal injuries, arthritis, diabetes, cardiac and pregnancy & post-natal care. Merendi's individually developed programs are for people of all ages and fitness levels. She has a fresh and vibrant, but structured approach to her exercise & education programs, thus ensuring that you stay highly motivated and focused on achieving your goals, whilst also having fun along the way. Merendi is a vibrant health professional who loves writing, blogging, networking and educating others on how to improve their health and wellbeing! Whatever your health challenge may be – chronic disease, injury recovery, or lifestyle - Merendi can create a personalised, holistic program that will support, educate and empower you to make positive changes in your life. Merendi is a mother to 6 year old non-identical twin boys and 3 year old daughter. Since becoming a mum in 2004 Merendi now understands and appreciates the importance of health and exercise during pregnancy and after giving birth. Since this time she has developed a specialist interest in developing specific exercise programs for women during their pregnancy and postnatal, due to her own experiences of pregnancy, child birth and raising children. Merendi herself knows the time constraints of mothers and offers exercise programs tailored to fit in with every mother's busy life.
