Merinda Hensley

I am currently the Instructional Services Librarian at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. My research interests center on investigating student’s perceptions of themselves as researchers, the choices that they make regarding the publication and dissemination of their work and the impact librarians can have on those decisions. The most rewarding aspect of my position as a teaching librarian involves helping new librarians explore their own teaching voice.

In my downtime, I like to bake bread, knit socks, take long walks in solitude, stick my feet in the sand and watch the moon move across the sky.
