meg gauthier
Charlotte, NC
After spending her formative years devouring every book she got her hands on, Meg entered college with the intent of becoming a librarian. She learned that she was not meant for the life of an academic and began the search for a new career path.
Exploring options that included computer programming, public relations, marketing, and screenwriting, Meg discovered the field of law through a Business Law elective. Law appeals to her sense of curiosity, constant desire for evolution in thought, and her love of winning. Someday, she hopes to be Harvey Specter.
Meg can be found volunteering for Random Acts, a 501(c)(3) dedicated to fostering grassroots acts of kindess. Serving the organization as IT Manager between 2012and 2014, she assisted the team of volunteer staff with tech issues large and small, including reorganizing their supporter forums, creating training presentations for new staff, keeping the website up to date, and creation of all new accounts for onboarding staff. She also represented Random Acts at the NASCAR Nationwide NRA American Warrior 300 in Atlanta, GA in 2012, where she acted as the onsite representative for the Random Acts sponsored #81 car. Although she no longer serves on the Administrative team, Meg still donates her time as a community volunteer.
Her day job is at Lake Norman Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram as a Service Advisor, where she spends a lot of time writing repair orders and trying not to leave her iPad in customer cars.
In her spare time, Meg enjoys spending time in her library with her scores of books. Her hobbies include catching up on Boston Bruins games, attempting to teach herself to paint impasto, vanquishing imaginary villians with her lightsaber, and cuddling with a grumpy Siamese named Giles.
She will complete her Associate of Arts in May 2014 and enter into a Bachelor's program for Communication in August 2014.
