I am Attorney Merrill Schneider. I live and work in Portland Oregon. I am a Social Security Disability Lawer. My passion is helping as many people as I can receive the benefits they deserve.

I received my Bachelor of Arts degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 1973 and my Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Oregon in 1977. I was admitted to the Oregon State Bar in 1977 and have practiced law full time since. My entire career has been spent litigating cases.

I have personally tried thousands of Social Security, Worker’s Compensation and Personal Injury cases and have managed and participated in the preparation of many thousands more. Rather than focusing on a few big cases, I have focused my firm’s practice (Schneider Caver Law Offices) on helping as many people as we can. Nothing is more rewarding for me than a thank you from a client.

I am proud of the renovation of this beautiful historic building in Portland. It was the original City of Portland Water building, built 1909. After a 5 month renovation, I returned it to it's prior glory keeping it's Jacobean architectural details when my firm, Schneider Caver Law Offices moved it's headquarters there in 2010. We have an additional five offices located throughout the greater Portland/Vancouver Metro area.
