Mervin Liew Keh Lun: Specialized Fire Officer & Medical Expert

I am a highly dedicated Fire Officer (Pegawai Bomba KB22 (KUP)) with 16 years of service at the Labuan Sentral Fire and Rescue Station. My expertise spans emergency response, specialized medical assistance, and occupational safety.

My unique roles include:

• Diver Medical Assistant (DMA): I am certified to perform annual health inspections for the Water Rescue Team (PPDA).

• EMRS & Trainer: I am a key member of the Emergency Medical Rescue Services (EMRS) team and a certified trainer for emergency care and diving medicine for PPDA and EMRS personnel.

• Emergency Driver: I am certified to drive Fire Rescue Tender (FRT), Light Fire Rescue Tender (LFRT), and EMRS vehicles.

I hold a Bachelor of Occupational Health and Safety Management with Honors (PNGK: 3.50) and actively manage OSH at my workplace.

My commitment has been recognized with the Pingat Bintang Kinabalu (BK) and Pingat Cemerlang Bomba (PCB) (2023), and the Excellent Service Award (2014). I also led the medical team for the Mount Kinabalu Expedition in 2023.
