I am an Assistant Professor in Health and Human Services at the New York City College of Technology/CUNY. I have practice experience in clinical social work with a concentration in child and adolescent mental health, non-profit/human services, and integrated academic and mental health services in public schools. My research interests include: School Social Work practice; Child and Adolescent Mental Health; Social Work Education; Narrative approaches: Participatory Research; Ethnic/Minority issues; Poverty issues; Urban Education; Neo-liberalism; Mentoring. Other interests I pretend I still have time for, but never seem to these days: soccer, playing guitar, drawing, and netflix.
