Niina Meskus

Up until 2008 I treaded the beaten path. I executed life. Went to school, got an education, went to work, exercised. Everything outside of my normal routine, the unfamiliar, was terrifying, weird and impossible.

Then I got a job from the Student Union of the University of Oulu. It was full of people who seeked new challenges and ways of doing things. I got challenged and inspired. I found new strengths inside of myself I did not knew I had. I learned power of communications and cooperation. I started to refine my organizational and communication skills. I began saying yes instead of no.

I am keen to learn more. I've realized that my courage, imagination and entrepreneurial skills can take me anywhere. And even the sky isn't the limit when you find right kind of partners to walk along beside you. That is why it is important to network and help others to find new connections.
