Metallurgy is a leading metallurgical testing facility delivering results to clients rapidly, in a safe manner, to budget and in accordance with industry standards. Directors of two companies, namely, IMO and Strategic Metallurgy, own Metallurgy Pty Ltd. By the joining of these two companies, direct access to metallurgists, consultant engineers and metallurgical technicians was made possible. This enables Metallurgy to exercise expertise in all aspects of extractive metallurgy inclusive of test work programs, scoping and feasibility studies and cost estimations.
Metallurgy utilises standard industry accepted practices of testing as well as using more innovative methods. The diversity of methods of testing is offered to our clients. Clients can hire technicians and manage their own metallurgy work or those who wish to directly observe directly in the metallurgy process can do so.
Metallurgy test work includes solvent extraction, mineralogy, flotation, comminution sample preparation and a number of other tests are also possible. Our staff are experienced in the metallurgy field and are happy to suggest what sample preparation services are required with the given sample type and minerals of interest.
