Hello World!

My name is Liam. I’ve dabbled in wargames and crafts for many years but recently have given up the gaming side of things to focus on other parts of life. However, my friend and I play a lot of chess and have started to get interested in other types of chess, such as Xiangqi (chinese chess) and Shogi (japanese chess).

This blog is going to be dedicated to a project which I call Warhammer Chess. It will be a crafting blog, creating a regular western style chess board using Warhammer Fantasy miniatures. I will be hand making the board and a lot of the scenery which the bases will feature, and I will be converting, assembling and painting all of the models which will represent the chess pieces.

I will go into more detail about the design, choice of models etc, but for now I hope you are interested enough to follow this blog and have a good time hearing about my creation!
