你好! Maybe you have no idea what you just read, but if you do know then that’s fantastic. Well, it means "Hello" in Chinese and it’s pronounced Nǐ Hǎo [knee-how].

I am a Chinese student who moved to the United States when I was young. I am a senior currently studying Finance and Chinese at the University of Massachusetts of Amherst. I am a motivated, independent, affable, and reliable young lady who is pursuing a career in Corporate Finance and international business.

I love China and hope that one day I can find an opportunity to work there. China has 5,000 years of history with the largest population in the world with 1.35 billion people, and has into 56 recognized distinct ethnic groups. It was the first nation that invented the four great inventions: silk, paper, gunpowder, and movable-type printing. In addition, the Great Wall is the most recognized landmark in China with the length of 21,196 km (13,171 miles) and is a historical symbolism in Chinese history. There are many more great histories and cultures about China that one cannot finish learning in his/her entire life. If you ever want to travel to a foreign place I would suggest China because it not only has a rich history, but also is one of the most beautiful places in the world.

For the reasons listed above, I am seeking a professional opportunity where, as an Asian student, I will be able to see an international perspective in the economy, and utilize my knowledge for real world applications while creating a broad networking opportunity in the community.
