Moses Eyiya

Moses Eyiya is a self-motivated young man with a great potential and passion who has a wealth experience in the Media industry in Africa and Australia. Moses has completed Bachelor of Arts Degree Majoring in Communications and Media Studies and Double Minor in Public Relations and Web Strategy at Murdoch University in Perth WA in February 2017. Moses also holds a Diploma in Journalism and Public Relations from the Kenya Polytechnic University in Nairobi.
Moses has over ten year experience in Radio Management, Production, Presentation, Reporting with a major interest in (health, investigative and undercover reporting), Business Development, M arketing and Public Relations. He has worked for two radio stations (Biblia Husema Broadcasting and Truth FM) under the same umbrella – Biblia Husema Broadcasting. Moses is an award winner through is favourite show "The Big Testimony” on a christian radio station 90.7 Truth FM. The program featured former thugs, gangsters and street girls and the way they had reformed in the society. Moses hosted great personalities, politicians, businessmen and other prominent members of the Kenyan society in his Show.
Moses began as an intern reporter covering human interest and business stories for two years and later gained an interest in politics in 2004. As an intern Moses gained much experience by attending Press conferences, assisting show hosts and deejays with both on and off air tasks. He spent most of the shadowing and learning from staffers at the radio station helping the producers and on air talent run a smooth show. He also maintained the station's website with podcasts, guest interview transcripts and station news.
Moses was then fully employed in 2005 as a reporter and later became the senior reporter covering parliamentary proceedings and major events in Nairobi. He also broadcasted the nine pm bulletin. He promoted as the news editor in 2007 and later became the station manager in 2007. In 2009 he was promoted as the company’s Business development manager in charge of Marketing and Public Relations for both Truth FM and Biblia Husema Broadcasting.
Currently Moses is looking for a job in the Media Industry as a journalist, Presenter, Communications officer or Public Relations Officer.
