I am Victoria Mezzina, and I currently an undergraduate student studying at Stockton University. I am majoring in communications, with hopes of becoming a professional sports photographer. I chose to major in communications to fulfill my dreams of becoming a professional sports photographer and because of my love for photography and sports. As a photographer, my mission is to inspire the viewer of the photo, regardless of what is captured in the photo. The viewer should feel some sort of emotion from my photography. After all, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I plan on working with a professional sports organization, such as the National Hockey League, the National Football League, or the National Basketball Association within the Philadelphia area. Although the media field is competitive, I know I will have the opportunity to prove myself and work my way to the top. As a commuter, I have the opportunity to live at home and complete internships as well. Currently, I have an opportunity set up to intern with a family friend at CNN in Washington D.C. to gain experience in the communications field. As more opportunities arise, I hope to gain as much knowledge possible to fulfill my dreams as a professional sports photographer.
