Mark Fijor

Mark currently serves as a Technology Facilitator for a K-8 school district in the northwest suburbs of Chicago, Illinois. In his position Mark helps to promote the use of technology in the classroom, as well as creating a variety of multimedia resources for students and teachers. Mark offers professional development to staff in a variety of ways including classes, online training videos, and individual trainings. In addition, he works closely with teachers and staff to integrate technology into curriculum and promote 21st century teaching methods. Mark is an Apple “fanboy”. In addition to using Macs, he also uses a varitey of different CMS tools online to create websites for our lessons including, Moodle, WordPress, Drupal and Joomla. In addition, he has heavy background in using Adobe Creative Suite as well as the Final Cut Pro and the Apple iLife suite.
