Maria Finders Stylidiadis (1959 Athens, Greece) lives and works in Amsterdam, Arles and Paris. She is Executive Member of the Supervisory Board, LUMA Arles. After her studies in Film and Art History at Queens (Kingston, Ontario) and Concordia (Montreal, Quebec) and Drawing and painting, Ecole national supérieur des Beaux arts, in Paris, Maria Finders embarked on 30 years of working in art, publishing, entrepreneurship, and technology. In 2002 she joined Art Basel creating and developing with Bulgari Art Basel Conversations that she curated both in Basel and in Miami Beach (2002-2008) with Hans Ulrich Obrist. After joining Brunswick Arts as Director Europe, engaging as a senior strategic communications and cultural consultant, she created and curated the Global Art Forum for Art Dubai – Qatar and Dubai, from 2007 to 2009. In 2005, in her functions at Brunswick, and then later at OMA|AMO Finders began a decade of projects with and for the Venice Biennale.After creating A2B, Architecture to Basel, for Messe Basel Swissbau, Finders continued her fore in architecture, working on the strategy and campaign for the Aga Khan Award for Architecture, and for the Mies Prize. Between 2011 and 2014 she was part of the team of Rem Koolhaas at OMA|AMO as Director of the Cultural and Creative Advisory, developing project with and for Galeries Lafayette (Foundation strategy and building, exhibitions, new retail typologies), Audi competition, 360 mall Kuwait project development, AMO workshops and technology investigations.Since 2015 Maria Finders is co-founder and Managing Director at Finders House & Company BV in Amsterdam.
