MATT FRIEDMAN

I have a deep passion for business and technology. A geek at heart, I get excited about smart people with innovative ideas who create solutions to problems I never knew I had. My current obsession is with the advancements in natural user interfaces, robotics, and voice recognition.

In my professional life I am a Technology Strategist at Microsoft, which means I get to help a few large companies incubate new ideas and solve tough problems with technology. I love my job.

Over the past 14 years, I have worked in a variety of management and individual roles at large companies like IBM and Symantec. I was also fortunate enough to take a few years off to stretch my entrepreneurial wings by starting a private school in Southern California.

I live in the beautiful Pacific Northwest - which is a great fit, since I enjoy microbrews, green trees and rain. When I’m not working you can bet I am hanging out with my wife and kids.
