Mission for Tribes and Nations (MfTN) is a Christian mission that solely exists to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ among every tribe and tongue in Nepal and South Asia. MfTN is working among CHEPANG, KUSUNDAS, and RAUTE Tribes in Nepal. These tribes are particularly backward and are our focus group. In India we are working among KOYA tribes and in Bhutan the TOTA tribes. Because our mission is sourced by holistic ministry, we approach through social works, i.e. free clothes, food, and medical attention. If social works are not required in a specific location with use direct evangelism. We have 52 Churches in Nepal, 9 Churches in India and a Church in Bhutan. SHORT TERM GOALS (1-5 Years): 1) Non-Formal Adult Women Literacy Program lasting 3 months. Within a years time of the writing of this letter we aim to teach literacy to at least 3,000 tribal and backward women. Curriculum used by MfTN: MfTN will prepare a Christian-focused literacy education program that will use key Bible passages to teach literacy in tribes. The program will be taught by qualified Christian men and women with language teaching experience. 2) Vacation Bible School: Three or more times a year we plan to hold a Vacation Bible School for Christian youth during Hindu Holy Days and summer vacation when public and private schools are closed for a long duration. This will keep Christian children occupied during long breaks and will not only strengthen children’s education but will also provide relief for families. Children of other faiths are always welcome to attend any of our events. 3) Packaging long Distance Outreach Movement: 4) Disciple Bible School (7-10 days, twice a year): We will hold Discipleship school for adult Christian men and women who wish to obtain a greater hold on their faith in the study of the Bible. 5) Leadership Retreat and Workshop: Pastors and Missionaries from Nepal and South Asia can come and join together at MfTN headquarters in Nepal to learn techniques and methods of evangelism and discipleship to take back to their respective countries. 6) Income Generating Program for Tribal Christian Women: We will hold programs in tribal areas that will teach tribal Christian women on how to make products to sell on the open market. We have seen great success on teaching tribal women on how to make candles to sell them in the past. 7) Residential with both men and women in English and Nepali: Continuing Goals into the Long Term: 1) Church planting 2) Pa
